Elephant species

If you are going on adventurous safari then you will see two types of elephant known as Asian and African elephant. There is great distinction between these two mammal species of elephant. These can be recognized by their unique scientific name and physical structure. Loxodonta Africana is the scientific name of African elephant which have weight more than 4,000 and less than the 7,000 kg. With the 3 or 4 meter height of shoulder these can stand anywhere and can see the predators easily.

In physical appearance, these have wrinkled skin more than the Asian elephant. You can get difference easily by the flap sized ears of African elephant by which these cool their body. Back of African elephant are in concave style and the stomach appears attached to the legs in diagonally behavior.  Molars gives a look of diamond and precious tusks has been predict to male and female both, but the male have larger than the female. These are the differences between the different species of elephant which can be found easily.
