Two species of jackals are found, in east and south zone of Africa. Here I am giving brief introduction about the physical structure and habitat of eastern jackals. According to research three genuses of jackals can be seen, wandering in the busy forest of east Africa.

The appearance of these animals is totally different to each other by their unique color and habitat. Golden jackals with sandy touch like to live in open, bushy and grassy places, while other jackals named as side stripped prefers waterways and dense grassland. They have unique styled strip on their body with the dark color and white spot on tail. Other type of jackals, known as black-blacked can be recognized by the shiny and healthy black hair on their body and tail with black spot.
